“What a trip! Leading up to visiting Israel we were excited with anticipation, but boy did it exceed anything we had imagined. Our tour guide CJ was outstanding. He broke down the Jewish culture, past and modern history, biblical connections/application, and geography of Israel at every site. It was just so awesome with how many sites and artifacts we were shown and how seamlessly our trip was organized. Throughout the week we were taken well care of. We stayed in very nice hotels, ate great food, and enjoyed a comfortable, air-conditioned bus driven by our expert driver, Happy. Happy made sure we stayed hydrated and took extra special care of us in keeping us safe. CJ and Happy complemented each other wonderfully. With packed days of touring, we enjoyed restful evenings. We also felt safe and secure throughout our travels, allowing us to delve fully into what we were learning and what God was teaching us about Himself.
Besides enjoying CJ and Happys sense of humor, we quickly experienced camaraderie between the rest of our group, which made little things like traveling, eating, and taking pictures fun. Thank you all for loving on us; we thank God for you and this short time we were able to connect. And most importantly we thank God as we recognize all the lessons we learned along the way. He definitely used this trip to reveal new things to us as we learned more about the Bible, God, and ourselves.
Thank you and many Blessings,
Jeanne Jackson

Refreshed from a good night’s sleep, we rise early to enjoy an Israeli breakfast. Today we travel north to Caesarea Philippi where Peter proclaimed to Jesus, “You are the Christ!” (Matthew 16). As we drive through the Golan Heights we will understand the strategic importance of this area to the security of Israel. Then we go to Capernaum, the headquarters of Jesus’ ministry (Matthew 4). Visit the Mount of Beatitudes where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount overlooking the Sea of Galilee (Matthew 5-7). Take a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee in a replica of a boat used in Jesus’ day. Visit Tabgha, where Jesus multiplied the loaves and fishes. Visit Magdala, the home of Mary Magdalene (Luke 8). We return to our hotel for dinner.
Day 4 Weds 5/3 ~ Caesarea Maritima / Mt Carmel / Megiddo / Nazareth / Cana / Yardenit for Baptism in the Jordan River
This morning we drive to Caesarea Maritima on the Mediterranean Sea. This ancient port city was built by Herod the Great and was the site of major events in the lives of Peter (Acts 10) and Paul (Acts 13 & 24). Visit Mt. Carmel, where Elijah defeated the prophets of Baal (1 Kings 18). Then we visit the ancient city and military fortress of Megiddo. From here we overlook the fertile Jezreel Valley, later referred to as the Valley of Armageddon (Revelation 16). We will drive by Cana, where Jesus performed His first miracle. Then we visit Nazareth, the boyhood home of Jesus and stand on the Mount of Precipice, the place where a mob attempted to throw Jesus off the cliff. From there we go to Yardenit, where you will have an opportunity to be baptized in the Jordan River. Our day ends with dinner back at our hotel.
Day 5 Thurs 5/4 ~ Beit She’an / Jericho / Valley of the Shadow of Death / Jerusalem / The Western Wall
Today we leave the Galilee region and begin our journey to Jerusalem. We will drive through the Jordan Valley and stop at Beit She’an. As we continue through the Jordan Valley we will visit Jericho, the oldest known inhabited city in the world. There we will see the ruins of the ancient city conquered by Joshua (Joshua 6) and we will also see the traditional site of the Temptation of Jesus (Matthew 4). Then we drive through the Judean Wilderness and the Valley of the Shadow of Death as we drive up to Jerusalem. Our first sight of Jerusalem, the Golden City, will be from Mt. Scopus. Then we visit the Western Wall to witness the Sabbath transition as Jewish worshippers gather to celebrate.
Day 6 Fri 5/5 ~ Mount of Olives / Garden of Gethsemane / House of Caiaphas / Bethlehem / Church of the Nativity / Shepherd’s Fields
Today we will visit the Mount of Olives as Jesus often did. Forty days after the Resurrection Jesus ascended to Heaven from this mount. As we walk down the Mount of Olives on the Palm Sunday Road we will pray in the Garden of Gethsemane among the ancient olive trees. Visit Dominus Flevit, where Christ wept. From here we will have an excellent view of the Kidron Valley and the city of Jerusalem. Next we visit the House of Caiaphas, where Jesus was held the night before His crucifixion (Luke 22). This afternoon we will visit Bethlehem, where you will see the Church of the Nativity and the Shepherd’s Fields. Return to our hotel for dinner and another overnight stay in Jerusalem.
Day 7 Sat 5/6 ~ Old City / Via Dolorosa / Mount Zion / Upper Room / City of David / Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial
Today we will travel back 2000 years as we take a walking tour of the Old City of Jerusalem. We will walk the Via Dolorosa. Afterwards, we travel on to Mount Zion and the Upper Room, the place of the Last Supper (Mark 14) and where the Holy Spirit was poured out on the Day of Pentecost. Next we visit the City of David and explore Hezekiah’s Tunnel then visit the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial to be touched by the moving images and stories. Return to our hotel for dinner and another overnight stay in Jerusalem.
Day 8 Sun 5/7 ~ Masada/Ein Gedi/Qumran/Dead Sea
Our day starts with a trip to Herod’s ancient fortress of Masada, which was built high atop a mountain on the edge of the Dead Sea. This afternoon we visit Ein Gedi, a natural spring in the wilderness, and see the Qumran Caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Today’s journey will end with time and relaxation on the shore of the Dead Sea where those who want to can go for a swim, rather a “float”, in the salted waters of the Dead Sea. Return to our hotel for dinner and another overnight stay in Jerusalem.
Day 9 Mon 5/8 ~ Old City Tour / Pool of Bethesda / Temple Mount / Garden Tomb
We begin at the Lions Gate where we will see the old Crusader’s Church of St. Anne and the Pool of Bethesda (John 5). Then we will see Mount Moriah which is called Temple Mount. Here on the site of Solomon’s Temple stands the Dome of the Rock and the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Afterwards we will travel to the Garden Tomb where we will have a worship service and communion. This was my first time to Isreal, and it was such a fantastic trip due to our guide Adam and our driver Money Mike! Adam is so knowledgeable and was really able to make each site come alive for me. We had a really large group, and I am sure that Adam felt like he was “herding cats” all week, but he kept us together and moving through the areas while sharing so much information. With Mike’s driving and sense of humor, I felt very safe even though the streets sometimes seemed way too narrow for all of the buses and cars! The team of Adam and Money Mike were fabulous, and I would highly recommend them!!

If you’re doing the Holy Land Tour, there’s no question in which company to choose - it’s Travel With Friends! The entire trip was very well planned and wasted no time in getting us in and out of sites while beating the crowds. Ibrahim was a phenomenal guide! He was personable, fun, and incredibly knowledgeable in the Bible and history of the land. Will definitely do this trip again and go through Travel With Friends!
