In Beit She’an, the bodies of King Saul and his sons were hung from the city walls (1 Samuel 31:10- 12) after the Philistines defeated them. Next, we head to Bethany Beyond the Jordan the site on the Jordan River believed to be the site where John the Baptist baptized Jesus. From here we head south for a time to float on the Dead Sea. After our time at the Dead Sea, we begin our ascent up to Jerusalem.
